EXPEDITE PLAN CHECK

Effective August 28, 1997 the Department began collecting a fee for expedited plan check, report review, written reports and other services provided by the Department. The amount of the fee for this service is equal to one half of the normal review fee for the service requested to be expedited.

A project for which an expedite fee is paid will usually be assigned for plan checking within 5 working days after submittal instead of the normal 3 to 4 week waiting period.
